Hello, welcome to my Author Website! This is the first book in a series that I’m writing about Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC). It is written with detailed short stories about my 14 month journey through Stage 3B TNBC. Faith, courage, a positive mindset, resiliency, and strength of heart and mind provide the foundation for HOPE to continue to shine through on this life journey! Sharing the knowledge from one warrior to another takes the mystery out of the treatment regimen and allows us to prepare and ready ourselves for the battle ahead. FAITH OVER FEAR!

AUTHOR BIO
Carol S. Kurtz is a southern Sagittarius who was born in Maryville, Tennessee but lived in North Carolina for most of her life. Prior to her cancer diagnosis in 2016, Carol had a variety of interests and activities. Among them were coaching fastpitch softball, training horses, bush hogging with her tractor, spending time with her husband and two kids, and traveling back and forth between the mountains and the beach.
Post treatment, Carol has worked vigorously within the breast cancer community trying to better understand the world around her. She organized a competitive cancer dragon boat team, The Chemo-Kaze Dragons, and spent 3 seasons coaching and competing with them in the Carolinas. After her latest move to South Carolina 3 years ago, Carol is very active with several breast cancer support groups and enjoys mentoring newly diagnosed breast cancer patients through their breast cancer journey. She’s very busy appreciating her second chance at life!
